# Iframe

The **Iframe** block **embeds an external page** inside your page using an iframe—e.g. a form from another tool, a booking widget, or a map from another provider.

***

## What you can do

* Enter the **URL** of the page you want to embed.
* Optionally set **width**, **height**, or **aspect ratio** so the iframe fits your layout.
* Use it for third-party forms, calendars, or other tools that provide an embed URL.

***

## Options

Common options:

* **URL** — Full URL of the page to embed (must be allowed by the external site; some sites block being embedded).
* **Height** / **Width** — Dimensions of the iframe area.
* **Title** — Accessible name for the iframe (recommended for screen readers).

***

## Tips

* Not all sites allow embedding; if the content doesn't show, the source may block iframes.
* Prefer **https** URLs. If the external page requires login, the iframe will show the login page unless the user is already logged in there.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://storypress.gitbook.io/storypress-docs/content-blocks/iframe.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
