# Fonts

Your theme’s **Fonts** block controls typography site-wide. You bring in type from **Google Fonts** or **Adobe Fonts**, then assign them to headings and body text and tune weights.

***

## How it works

1. In Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts, choose your fonts and get the **embed code** (a `<link>` or `@import`).
2. In StoryPress, open the theme and add or edit the **Fonts** block.
3. Paste the **Heading** embed code (for headings) and the **Paragraph** embed code (for body text). You can also use **Multiple in one** if your provider gives a single snippet for several fonts.
4. Set **font weights** (100–900) for Heading, Paragraph, Button, Input, Label, and menu (nav and footer) so the site feels consistent.

## Main options

| Option | What it does |
| --------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Heading embed code** | `<link>` or `@import` for the font used in headings. |
| **Paragraph embed code** | `<link>` or `@import` for the font used in body text. |
| **Multiple in one** | Single embed that loads more than one font. |
| **Use multiple in reverse order** | Swaps which font is used for heading vs paragraph when the provider’s order doesn’t match what you want. (First in the sheet = heading, second = paragraph, unless you reverse.) |
| **Weights** | Numeric weight (100–900) for Heading, Paragraph, Button, Input, Label, Nav menu, Footer menu. |

## Tips

* Use one font for headings and one for body for a clear hierarchy.
* If headings and paragraphs look swapped after pasting, turn on **Use multiple in reverse order**.
* Keep weights consistent (e.g. 600 for headings, 400 for body) so the theme stays readable and on-brand.
